Went to S&S because it was approaching 7pm and they were open til 8pm. My wife and I picked up a pound of large shrimp and they let us do 1/2 fried and 1/2 steamed. Simple and fantastic. We saved a lot of money and time ordering from here rather than going out to eat. The front person recommended getting fried trigger fish and ask them to cut it into strips.
OMG best fresh seafood ever. Pick up only, but a must try, if in Gulf Shores. You'll never want to go anywhere else. Everything else will just be a disappointment. A local gentleman told us about the place, we've got food from there last two nights. Can't say enough good things about S&S. Back again 2022, still the best seafood ever. Kim is awesome, her and the rest of the staff will take great care of you. They answer all your questions and help explain things you may not know. You're missing out if you do not give S&S a try.
This little fish market is a local secret! The lady at the counter was extremely helpful educating two northerners who didn't understand good shrimp. The Cajun level was the perfect seasoning. Best remoulade sauce I've had. They make their own sauces and have fresh catches. Call early to reserve your shrimp boil! We will return! Avoid the lines on the main strip.
(2023). Still one of my favorite places for Seafood! This Spring, on 3 separate occasions, I've had the Royal Reds,Trigger Fish, and Fried Shrimp and Onion Rings. I've also had their wonderful Cucumber and Corn Salad, and Roasted Red Potatoes. I think that I'll try the Grouper today with some more of their salad! This year (2018) I ate seafood from S & S several times and it was excellent! If you like fresh seafood and tasty sides, this is a great takeout place!
We wanted something a little different for our last day in gulf shores. S&S was definitely the right choice. We got a nice spread of royal reds and large shrimp. Our meal also came with potato’s and corn. It was all nicely cooked and tasted wonderful. We got it to go and walked it back to our house. If you like fresh shrimp I definitely recommend this gem!
Wonderful! We ordered 3lbs of large shrimp with mild seasoning, steamed fresh with cocktail sauce and dipping butter. Can't get no better than that!
Freshest red snapper I’ve had in a very long time, fully cooked for me in Cajun seasoning along with some “beach” Cajun boiled red potatoes which lasted me for days and was a very good price. Highly recommend if you’re staying down in the Gulf Shores area and want some fresh grouper/snapper.
Great location with fast, friendly service. We grabbed some ruby reds here pre-cooked seasoned mild, and they were very good. We got potatoes and corn to go with it as well. Great food for a good value. You won’t be disappointed!
